Racism, "what is it" it's not what you think
I'm going to post part of an article that was written by an author on the Town hall site. What I want to share are my thoughts concerning racism. Since Roseanne Barr tweeted what she did, which by the way was not the smartest thing she ever did! However racism is not represented by her remarks.
Racism is not a person, group, or a person who has a conservative or a liberal mindset.
Just 24-hours after Roseanne was fired by ABC for making a derogatory statement about former Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett (which she then apologized for), leftist comedian
Samantha Bee included a segment on her TBS show in which she called current White House senior advisor Ivanka Trump a "feckless c*nt." Why? Because she dared to post a photo holding her son. "You know, Ivanka, that’s a beautiful photo of you and your child, but let me just say, one mother to another, do something about your dad’s immigration practices, you feckless c*nt!” Bee said.
This is my opinion; this embodies what racism really is; a spirit! Both of these ladies have shows on networks and both of them made derogatory marks. one was made toward a black (African American) women and the other was made towards a white (Caucasian) woman. Why was only one fired? Racism! they both apologized for their remarks!
Racism has it's roots in anti-Semitism. Events like the Holocaust and Slavery are proof in the world that racism is a spirit that has been around killing million upon millions of people because of who they are (Jews) or the color of their skin (Blacks).
How do you deal with this spirit? First you must admit that it is evil and that evil exist!
Second, realize that that the bible tells us where this evil spirit came from and who the author of it is; Satan. Third, you deal with this spirit in the spiritual realm, through the power of God Almighty! His name is Jesus!
Roseanne has made many ridiculous statements and comments in her past. When this spirit (spirit of racism) used her, she didn't think that the consequences where going to be out of her reach to recover; her job and career are now lost!
Possibly in the near future as people we may be passed all of the junk of the past and people will be kind and civil towards each other no matter their color of skin, culture, or even religion; However I have my doubts! However the bible tell us that All things are possible to him that believes.
Racism is a spirit that will not go away until the return of the Jewish Messiah (Jesus)! Even so come Lord Jesus who embodies love and respect for all people. There is neither Jew or Gentile, male or female, (black or white) all are one in Messiah Jesus! so jump in, whosoever calls on His name in faith, believing he is who he said he was; is saved. ~ The Prof
